Dr. Jean N. Bassani, RN, DC

Doctorate of Chiropractic

Bachelor's of Science: Nursing

Dr. Jean Bassani graduated Magna Cum Laude from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri and has been in private practice for 20 years. Prior to becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Bassani graduated from Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing as an Registered Nurse and Sacred Heart University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked 10 years in the nursing field. 


Dr. Bassani has additional training in functional medicine, blood chemistry analysis, hormone evaluation, whole food nutrition and detoxification.

Lawshawnta Hasty

Licensed Massage Therapist

Lashawnta Hasty graduated from Connecticut Center of Massage Therapy in Westport in 2006. She concentrates in the areas of myofascial release and trigger point therapy. She is very passionate about massage and has a therapeutic healing touch. Her intention is always to help her patients/clients to function better in their daily life.

Front Desk

Carrie Bartomeli

Front Desk Receptionist

Carrie joined Connecticut Back & Wellness in August of 2020 as a front desk receptionist.  She has an associates degree in fashion merchandising and retailing.  Carrie has also attended marketing courses at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, CT.  She has worked in customer service for over 20 years in retail, and veterinary reception management.  Her focus is always on making patients feel comfortable when visiting.  

Outside of work, Carrie enjoys walking, hiking, and doing anything crafty.

Stacey Gagstetter

Billing Manager

After dedicating over a decade in the veterinary field, Stacey joined Connecticut Back & Wellness in 2022 as the practice billing manager. She completed her Medical Billing and Coding program at Naugatuck Valley Community College and recently achieved certification as a Certified Professional Coder.

 

Beyond her professional pursuits, Stacey cherishes her downtime, engaging in outdoor adventures such as hiking, camping, and kayaking. She also finds solace in the simple pleasures of reading a good book and enjoys family vacations in scenic Maine.
