Dr. Jean N. Bassani, RN, DC

Doctorate of Chiropractic

Bachelor's of Science: Nursing

Dr. Jean Bassani graduated Magna Cum Laude from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri and has been in private practice for 18 years with her husband, Dr. Nick Vaccaro. Prior to becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Bassani graduated from Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing as an Registered Nurse and Sacred Heart University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked 10 years in the nursing field. 
Dr. Bassani has additional training in functional medicine, blood chemistry analysis, hormone evaluation, whole food nutrition and detoxification.

Hello my name is Lashawnta Hasty. I graduated from Connecticut Center of Massage Therapy in Westport in 2006. I concentrate in the areas of myofascial release and trigger point therapy.  I am very passionate about massage and I practice a therapeutic healing touch. My intention is always to help my patients/clients to function better in their daily life.

Lindsay Murphy

Licensed Massage Therapist

Lindsay J. Murphy graduated from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in 2007 and has been practicing her craft for over a decade. Specializing in deep tissue clinical and sports massage Lindsay has always worked in a medical setting. In addition to briefly teaching at CCMT, Lindsay also obtained her 200-hour yoga teacher training to better assist clients with self care routines. She holds a licensed in the state of Connecticut and is a member of AMTA. In her free time, Lindsay enjoys spending it with her husband, Jeff, daughter, Ella, and dog, Gracie.

Carrie Bartomeli

Front Desk Receptionist

Carrie joined Connecticut Back & Wellness in August of 2020 as a front desk receptionist.  She has an associates degree in fashion merchandising and retailing.  Carrie has also attended marketing courses at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, CT.  She has worked in customer service for over 20 years in retail, and veterinary reception management.  Her focus is always on making patients feel comfortable when visiting.  

Outside of work, Carrie enjoys walking, hiking, and doing anything crafty.
